Next Adoption Event The next Second Chance adoption day is on Saturday, June 14, at Petco in Roseville (North of Hwy 36 off Fairview Avenue). A variety of cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies will be available for adoption between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All are FeLV & FIV or heartworm negative, spayed or neutered, distemper vaccinated and dewormed. (Cats and dogs can also be adopted out of their foster homes 7 days a week.) See Pet List.

Second Chance is holding a garage sale to benefit the animals. The sale will be at 1215 Bayard Avenue in Highland Park (off 35E and Randolph). Stop by and pick up some treasures.
SILENT AUCTION – Sunday, June 1
There will be a silent auction fundraiser for Second Chance in celebration of Humphrey (an extremely overweight Doxi) finding his forever home. The auction is Sunday, June 1, 3:00-4:30 p.m. at Dog Days Dog Daycare, 2120 Myrtle Avenue in St. Paul. There are some great items to bid on so please join us. (Dogs are welcome!)
DOG WALK – Saturday, June 7
There will be a dog walk to benefit The Wildcat Sanctuary on Saturday, June 7, 9:00 a.m. at Hidden Falls Regional Park in St. Paul. To learn more about the walk and how you can participate, go to http://www.wildcatsanctuary.org.
Music for the Animals
The 3rd annual Music for the Animals fundraiser will be held on Saturday, September 20, 1:00-5:00 p.m. at O’Gara’s Bar and Grill.
Tim Mahoney (http://www.myspace.com/timmahoneymusic) will be the host and entertain us with his songs. Two other talented bands will be playing for the animals - Concentual (http://www.concentualtheband.com) and Lehto & Wright (http://www.lehtoandwright.com).
Join us for great music, raffles, a silent auction, drink specials, appearances by Second Chance dogs, and good company with fellow animal lovers.
