|  Next Adoption Event The next Second Chance adoption day is on Saturday, August 14 at Petco in Roseville (North of Hwy 36 off Fairview Avenue). A variety of cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies will be available for adoption between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All are FeLV & FIV or heartworm negative, spayed or neutered, distemper vaccinated and dewormed. (Cats and dogs can also be adopted out of their foster homes 7 days a week.) See Pet List.

Join us at Chuck & Don's
Second Chance volunteers will be holding meet and greets at the Roseville and Mahtomedi Chuck & Don's stores on the following Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Please stop by and learn more about Second Chance and what you can do to help rescued dogs and cats.

Bingo to Benefit Second Chance - Community Picnic
Come and join the fun with the animal-friendly staff of Cities Credit Union for the Family & Community Picnic on Friday, August 13,
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. There will be food, fun and events. From noon - 2:00 p.m. is "Bingo for Buddies" and the proceeds will benefit Second Chance. We will have an information table over the lunch hour and during the bingo. Address is 3625 Talmage Circle, Vadnais Hgts 55110.
Woofstock
Second Chance will have a booth at this year's 5th annual Linden Hills Woofstock event. This should be a fun event to bring your dogs. There will be exhibitors, live entertainment, dog tricks contest, demonstrations and more.

Sponsors include Solid Gold Health Products and Pampered Pooch Playground. It is located in the Linden Hills neighborhood in Minneapolis - 43rd Street and Upton Avenue South (between Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun).
AllBreed Obedience Open HouseSecond Chance will have an information table at the annual AllBreed Obedience Open House on Sunday, September 19,
11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. This is a wonderful family event that you can attend with your dog. There will be vendors, information booths, demonstrations, food, socializing, and much more.  Mary Anderson, founder and owner of BonTon Tiles, has designed a beautiful tile in memory of her foster dog, Lucky. She is generously donating part of the proceeds from the sale of the tiles to Second Chance. “Lucky” was not a Second Chance foster dog but the sentiment of this beautiful daisy tile can be felt by all who rescue and foster animals.
